Another lesion, another day!

I was told yesterday that I have another "pigmented lesion" on my ear. Another melanoma. My attitude is Another lesion, Another day. What else do you want me to do? Why cry? Why freak out? Yes, I have been told 6 times since 2004, “what is this thing on your ear?” Or “That doesn’t look good…we need to biopsy it…” Or “I have some bad news…you have a melanoma on your ear.” Folks talk about how positive and how brave I am. I don’t feel that way. I am just doing what I do. I am taking steps in the only direction I am given, playing the cards I have been dealt. Trying not to focus on the cancer, but on the Lord who guides me and provides for me. He has been faithful to me for 51 years and he will be with me. This is my choice of faith.
